Part1- Oracle Unified Directory 11.1.1.5.0 (OUD) Installation

Oracle Unified Directory 11.1.1.5.0 (OUD) Installation on Windows7.

1)      Download the Oracle Unified Directory (Oracle Unified Directory (11.1.1.5.0)) from here- Oracle Unified Directory (11.1.1.5.0)

2)      Extract the downloaded zip file (ofm_oud_generic_11.1.2.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip).

3)      Got to below path for invoking the setup through double click on setup-

D:\LocalDisk(D)\OIM\OIMSoftwareforWindows11gR2\ \Disk1\install\win64

If during setup launch any jdk/jre related error will come  then open the command prompt and navigate to setup path and type below command-

>setup.exe -jreLoc C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_231

Note:- For Installing the OUD of above version on windows JDK1.8.0_45 is required-

4)      Provide the JDK Path in Installer-

5)      Click on Next-

6)      Select “Skip the Software Update” and Click on Next-

7)      Click on Next-

8)      It will automatically take the Installation path or browse the Path if you want to install in other location-

9)      Click on Install-

10) Click on Next-

11) Installation Completed, Click on Finish

Note- On Next Post check the OUD Configuration Steps. After Completing the both parts- OUD Installation and OUD Configuration we will connect to LDAP Browser OR JXplorer to verify the details.
